As a result, there isn’t a straightforward answer to the question. It will depend on:
• If you already have a heating system
• What kind of fuel you’re using
• Whether or not you’re moving your boiler
• What type of boiler you’ll be getting put in
• The sort of boiler you’re replacing, and which one you’re going from and to
• The nature of the house, the existing water supply, and so on.
However, a new boiler installation might take anything from one to three days to complete. To help you understand the process better, we’ve included some examples below.
Straight Swap
Replacing an old gas boiler with a new one of the same kind is the fastest and simplest installation method. In this case, we’re presuming the old one is merely broken, and the new one will be installed in its place, with all of the necessary water, heating, and gas lines already in place and in compliance with the new model’s specs.
It’s a simple matter of disconnecting the power and thermostat, removing the old boiler, and installing the new one in its place in this scenario. The process is as basic as that. One engineer can do this in less than a day.
Changing The Location
If you currently have a boiler but wish to move it or install a new one in a new place, this can rarely be accomplished in a single working day because new pipes (water and gas) need to be built, and new electric power and thermostat connections connected. This work could take up to three days (and occasionally more) to complete.
